There are three ways to give someone a Centaur Gift...

Gift Vouchers
Specifically for shoots... with an option to self print; when printed by Centaur they are presented with a brochure and wrapped together in ribbon - these are best purchased in advance so that you can give it in person on that special occasion; or you can download the digital file and print it yourself - ideal if your are only a few days or hours away from that big day!

Gift Certificates
For any monetary amount that can be used for shoots and printed products... these are delivered by email, either direct to the recipient or to yourself for printing. Ideal if your are miles away and want it delivered today!

Gift Registry
Post shoot products... do you know someone who has had a shoot and want to contribute to their order? This is great way for a group of friends & family to pool money into one account for the gift receiver to spend on whichever package they like best.

All the gift options are valid for 12 months so can be used in any season; if over 12 months they can still be used but may be subject to additional charges (top-up).

A Centaur Horses & Fashion Shoot is a fun experience… well, so we are told. Mind you, when you see an ex farrier demonstrating girly poses then you'll probably laugh too.

So, over a cup of tea, we start off with a chat about styles, poses, clothes and make-up for you and your horse; Beckie, the make-up artist & stylist, will assist and advise you on your choice of clothes to complete the makeover; while the magic of powder & mirrors is applied, Alec will check out suitable locations and plan the shoot around you.

Then, when we are all ready, your horse is introduced to the lights and the shoot commences... This is where Alec’s experience as a farrier comes in as he gently guides you, and your horse, through the shoot with various poses and photographic styles (assisted by Beckie of course). Halfway through, we have a change of outfit (or horse) and a second makeover; this means you can do natural & casual as well as a high fashion magazine styled looks.

It’s a wrap! After the shoot comes the editing and digital enhancements, this is done back at the studio as, like all good things, it take time to produce works of art. At a later date you are invited to come to the studio to view the results on our large screen; our viewings are relaxed and unhurried – unlike other studios, we don’t insist on you making a choice straight away… we have private galleries on here for you to make your final purchase from the comfort of your own home if that's what you'd prefer (but you will see them and our products best if you come to the studio first). Our images are intended for display on your walls for many years to come – our range of canvases & frames are of an outstanding quality and compliment your images in the best way possible.
